Don't forget about the $100 Newegg gift card for $85 offer. The offer is only good for one per customer. But it would make this video card $15 cheaper.

9070 for $350? Haha, that's laughable, even for the non-XT, they're $700+ on Newegg, do you mean the 9060XT?

Newegg customer support via phone is amazing though, so I quickly resolved getting the order cancelled

I guess if you need the 12GB of memory. If you are still okay with 8GB you can get a warrantied openbox 4060 from Zotac for $246. No worries about driver issues with any games and the non-OC single fan only pulls 110 watts.

These cards makes no sense... They look good for the price, but you can't use them with older CPUs... So if you have a fast CPU, why pair it with such a low performance GPU.
Because you're out of money after you bought that nice new CPU....

Rumored B780 on the horizon. At the moment for those still on a 1660 ti or below, this is a good upgrade.
Except most people rocking a 1660Ti are going to have a much older platform, which these GPUs do NOT play well with.

If you ask Grok to compare them the B580 is generally lower performance than the RTX 2080....which launched 7 years ago and are ~$200 or less on ebay.
Grok is the most inaccurate and dog shit AI.

One reason would be that not everyone purchasing a discrete GPU has the goal of maximizing gaming potential. Some people have a

My desktop was built for productivity, which is why the Ryzen 5700G has been a great fit. But lately I've wanted to be able to play a few more games and accelerate GPU-based workloads, so I decided to get a dGPU. I bet an Arc A380 would have met my needs, but I decided the B580 would probably be a better long-term value. So that's what I setup deal alerts for.

(After waiting more than a month for a B580 at MSRP, I folded like a lawn chair and got an RX 9060 XT 16 GB. Like the B580, it looked like a great value at its low MSRP.)

I do think that the B580 would have been more than adequate for my needs. And I think the Arc platform will gradually improve over time as well as software support improves. For a lot of people, the B580 looks to be a new GPU with lots of current-gen tech and a low MSRP.

why cant you use them for older CPU's? will it prevent the system from booting? i just need something that will work with my Samsung TV. tried 3 rtx cards and they all had the same problem... i leave my pc on, and turn off the tv to do chores, then i turn it back on and i get a Check Device Power message. the only way to get around that is a cold shutdown and start. changed my certified hdmi cables, no difference, so i need to change my GPU.

Haha "ask Grok"... Now why would I want to do that? Especially when I need factual information...

Spoken like someone who never challenges their own views. Unfortunately, this along with blind groupthink is so common and causes good people to make bad decisions. If you are seriously saying this then you may need to layoff the slickdeals, leave your house, and get more life experiences because you are extremely naive.
