Don't forget about the $100 Newegg gift card for $85 offer. The offer is only good for one per customer. But it would make this video card $15 cheaper.

9070 for $350? Haha, that's laughable, even for the non-XT, they're $700+ on Newegg, do you mean the 9060XT?

why cant you use them for older CPU's? will it prevent the system from booting? i just need something that will work with my Samsung TV. tried 3 rtx cards and they all had the same problem... i leave my pc on, and turn off the tv to do chores, then i turn it back on and i get a Check Device Power message. the only way to get around that is a cold shutdown and start. changed my certified hdmi cables, no difference, so i need to change my GPU.

There's a significant loss of performance on systems so old they don't support resizable BAR

Intel officially recommends for these GPUs having an Intel 10th generation or above or AMD Ryzen 3000 or above CPU as these are the oldest CPUs that officially support REBAR (though there's some fringe CPU/MB combos where you can enable it on 1st gen Ryzen or 8th/9th gen Intel CPUs).

I have a Mac Mini M4. It's awesome. That M4 chip is nuts. It's a surprisingly powerful system for how small it is and what you pay. I got it primarily for music recording with Logic, but I've actually been using it for quite a bit of gaming. I get 60fps and between 1080p-1440p on custom high settings in a lot of games. I say "custom," because I sometimes get more like 40-50fps if I do the full high preset, but I generally only have to slightly tweak things, and I can still keep more demanding things like ambient occlusion on. It has a couple dedicated ray-tracing cores. We're talking games like Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Disco Elysium, Blacksad, Civilization 6, Divinity Original Sin 2, etc… Yeah, they're older games, but still. It can play newer stuff, just sometimes in the 30fps-40fps range, which I'm not down with. You can also use a program like Crossover to play a lot of PC games.

How much ram? More than 16GB?

Always see so many conflicting comments on these posts. I end up not doing anything because I don't know who to trust.

I noticed that despite all the harsh words and mean comments, no one provided alternate information.

For a long time, the "stock" avatars you could pick on SD were a bunch of Chrono Trigger icons/thumbnails. Back then, most people just used them. And most probably had no idea where they were from.

But I knew. I knew who I was representing. His name is Glenn! Cyrus's hopes and dreams... And now the Masamune!
