Rtings review isn't the best. Notably, the pc gaming rating is low and it says it has high input lag at both 60hz and 165hz.

This one is better on paper. Qhd vs fhd. Curved vs not curved. Totally dependent on what's important to you though.

1000R curvature is too crazy for non-ultrawide screens

My kids play Minecraft, Roblox, and Fortnite. I ordered a monitor from Amazon that's arriving tomorrow, but now I'm considering returning it for the Costco one instead. Which would you recommend for these games?"

I'm not sure what you got from Amazon, or how advanced your kids are in gaming, so I hesitate to tell you what to do. For playing basic Roblox games, mostly any monitor would be fine in my opinion. Minecraft and Fortnite on the other hand, can get pretty graphics heavy, so a higher resolution/refresh rate monitor could be appreciated there.

Much better monitor $160 Amazon Link at the top of the page

Very good Competitive Gaming monitor with very good viewing angle fantastic color great response time, but bad glowiness in the corners during dark scenes. Probably not in monitor for AAA gaming or movie watching. $200 Best Buy link at the top of the page

And here is probably the best all around for 260 Link at the top of the page, most consistent contrast, very clean screen image, excellent motion except for a bit of smearing of blacks probably not too noticeable

DONT BUY THE ORIGINAL POSTED MONITOR ABOVE THE MOTION IS VERY BAD. It's a blurring mess look at the motion section on the review here

Do not get this, get one of the monitors I posted just about this comment at the bottom of the page, checking out the one you got....

EDIT definitely definitely cancel that monitor order the one that you got, the G3, the Motion blur is heartbreakingly bad... Right above here are three great monitors posted in comparison

I don't game, but I bought two of these for the office and couldn't be happier. The curved monitor really helped with eye strain.

I have this monitor. I really like it, but the lack of G-Sync is annoying. I bought it when I was running a RX480 so FreeSync was a game changer, but with my RTX4070 the VRR incompatibility is really frustrating.

Because of my DNS blocking "ads" I can't check the monitors the other guy suggested, but I don't like the original one OR the one you bought. Both have mediocre brightness at 250/300 nits max bright. If you want something that will last you want to start much higher than that, because brightness only gets dimmer with age and use.

Not sure why so many companies keep making 250 nit monitors and often seem to hide the brightness spec when laptop buyers are starting to look at 300 as something only on low end systems.
