Good to know it's possible, I was able to bring up the page that has the right tv show with no option to purchase anything. I am not a subscriber.

You cannot access purchased content through the Apple TV app.

Fantastically bonkers first season. Loved it. The second was okay, but something was off, and you could smell the stench of network executive meddling. Then... oof. The less said about the other two the better.
