Low mercury, strong umami flavor.
Way better than the more expensive tuna varieties like albacore and yellowfin.

To each their own, but the tuna looks nutritionally superior in terms of calories and protein /oz. And there's the convenience factor of individual servings of the tuna. But, to be fair, the Mackerel does like a good deal.

On the surface, it appears that way. After all discounts, the cheaper-per-can 48 pack of tuna (22g protein per can) works out to $0.00534/gram of protein.. while the 12 pack of Chub mackerel (36g protein / 12g per serving x 3 servings per can) works out to $0.00249/gram of protein βœŒοΈπŸ˜€
