Check your DisplayPort version before ordering. You'll need 1.4 to get 3 external monitors.

Coupon didn't work for me. But it's now showing as $100 (actually $95 via Amazon Business), and comes with a free 3-port, 100w USB charger for that price.

Also make sure you have the right cables. Like me you've probably just collected them over the years and used whatever ya had. Just bought a nice KVM last week for 3 desktops and 2 monitors, and upgraded all of my cables. Cable Matters [amazon.com] makes nice ones that lock into place.

other than connecting to three monitors, I cannot think of a situation people want this.
These are great if you use a laptop as a desktop replacement. I have an Anker hub where I can set my laptop down and plug in a single USB-C cable. Connects my laptop not only to my two monitors, but my mouse and full size keyboard all while charging the laptop since the docking station is connected to a 100W charger and passes through 85W to the laptop which can accept up to 100W through the USB-C port.

Been the newer version without the display for my WFH setup with my work laptop (Dell lappy) for a little over a month. Have two 27 inch monitors, conference speaker, webcam, printer and a phone/watch charger all plugged into it and haven't had any issues at all. Pretty rock solid. Also the size (about the size of a can of soda pop) really makes a difference if you have a lot of clutter on your desk.

Only issue is that if you plan to charge your laptop with this dock you need to buy a wall adapter (and USB C cable) because it doesn't come with one. I had a 100 watt Anker wall charger lying around that I use, but if you don't then you'll need to spend another $20-$30 to pick one up.

See my comment above. Mine included a 100 watt brick for $95 total. It's not free, but cheap enough for me!

Can you help me understand what I should be looking at? This would connect to my laptop via USB C, which would pass video to the dock? From there display port to the monitors? My laptop appears to have display port 1.4 but I'm still confused on what means paired with a dock since its connected by USB C.

I'm hoping to use this dock with my Latitude 5440 and dual 49" Samsung Odyssey monitors.

If anyone is looking for the Mac version with displaylink, it appears to also be on sale for $51 off using code SPACEMAC. Not as big of a deal, but still interesting.

I personally need more usb-c ports on my dock - I am using for power and usb interface for two external touch screen monitors on my MacBook Air. Currently one needs to be plugged into device + second into doc with displaylink and usb-c. 🤓

Do you find that Displaylink for Macs has a slight delay on screen refreshes and mouse movement? I hate the slight delay I am seeing whenever I am using DisplayLink drivers -> Hub - > screen

mouse movement meaning I can see the mouse is moving on screen just a tad behind the physical movement.

What's the difference between the Mac and Win version?

Edit: I see the Mac version supports triple display

Yep my bad. I have the newer one without the display (but has the addition of the card card readers on the front).

I'd been tracking several docks for a few weeks and this arrived yesterday. It does what I was looking for: three monitors and all peripherals through one USB-C connection. It does support MST and DSC, as suspected, but I couldn't find it explicitly stated anywhere before.

It's moderately sized and meant to sit on the desk. The base can pop off and it could instead be mounted and hidden on the back of a desk. None of my monitors support DSC, but that does not matter when using a dock and GPU that can. I currently am running one 4k@60Hz, one 2k@120Hz, and one 2k@75Hz through the dock.
