looks like it: For solar charging, the input voltage range is 11-50V, with a maximum of 220W.

Seems to be a great deal. It beats this other FP deal by $19 for two panels.

Newbie question. How long do these panels last? Do they degrade like batteries?
Answering myself from GPT:
Typical lifespan of solar panels:
  • 25 to 30 years is standard.
  • Most panels still produce 80–90% of their original capacity after 25 years.
📉 Degradation rate:
  • On average, solar panels lose about 0.5% to 0.8% efficiency per year.
  • After 25 years, a panel rated at 100W might still produce about 85W–88W.

I sincerely doubt that you'll get that out of flexible panel. That's for solid panels

I live in a hurricane prone area and have four of these put up in the garage to pull out after an outage. They are very light and easy to move into position.

I have tested them using sawhorses in the summer time I laid in their side and in the winter I had the sawhorses standing up. A nail or screw through two of the grommets hold them in place.

I have a few rigid 200 watt panels in the garage for the same use, but they are a lot heavier and awkward to move around. They are two heavy for the sawhorses to hold in position.

Expect them to last 1-3 years if directly glued to a vehicle roof. 2-5 years if there is an air gap.

I plan on using mine a couple weeks during a power outage, and keeping them in the box between uses, I expect them to last 10-20+ years.

Anyone have any real-world production metrics/ratings for direct and/or overcast sunlight conditions?

It doesn't instill a lot of confidence in the product when the photos have series and parallel connection examples reversed.

Yes, I use this exact setup for them, just use them in parallel.

How would you mount a flexible panel like this on a roof? What kind of wind would it be able to handle?
