Yeah, but the payment processor they're using requires your SSN and bank account. It's not a straight gift card.

I can confirm the credit is a discount code that doesn't stack with sale prices, if you try use the discount code on a sale then the price will revert to full price, the sale prices are usually better than $150. The discount code is worthless unless you absolutely cannot wait for a sale. Otherwise the $100 is better as you can still get the sale price and $100.

from what I've heard, the $150 is just a discount code and is not stackable so get the $100 and you will get a better upgrade deal

My wife and I both took the $150 coupon code. It's a Google Store coupon code (not a credit), valid until July 2026, only valid on Pixel phones (not sure if you could buy an old/refurb or only "new" phones), said it could not be combined with other offers (I know others have seen differently, but that's what mine said, and I had no other offers to try). Coupon was listed as non-transferable. However, for some reason, my wife's Google account was locked out of making a purchase from the Google store. After I successfully bought a 9a with my coupon, I confirmed with a Google rep that I was allowed to buy a 9a for her through my account using her coupon code (and it was successful). The coupon seems to be tied to the IMEI (one coupon per phone), not the Google account through which the credit was processed.

One of mine is eligible but other says they'll get back to me within 3 weeks & let me know? Both were purchased from Google store at same time during the trade in deal several years ago. Only difference is one is sage and other is black. Just got email saying "they're working on my appeasement" for the one that didn't automatically qualify - strange way of phrasing it.
How long did the email take? I didn't get anything in my inbox after I submitted.

So, firmware limiting the battery is on the 8th, yet the repairs aren't available until the 21st. Anyway of delaying the update for two weeks? Anyone hear if ubreakifix will do the repair for free? At this point, the IMEI doesn't come up with anything, but it may wait till the 21st.. chat with Google didn't help. It does seem from the 4a program that they did do the fix. The Google website is pointing me to a Google store about an hour and $30 away.... Shipping will take weeks. Ubreakifix charges $130 for the battery replacement, so taking $100 won't cover it. Thanks

Did you check how many charging cycles you have? If you have over 400 cycle charges, the battery update will be applied to your phone. It will be applied when your phone reaches 400 cycle charges. The battery nerfing software won't be applied if you are under the 400 charges. Google will supposedly send you an email when you are at a like 375 charges as a reminder that they will apply.
My phone is at like 134 charging cycles and I won't be ever reaching 400 charging cycles so they won't or shouldn't be applying the nerfing battery software.
If one chooses the battery replacement, Google states to replace the battery at around 400 charging cycles. It really doesn't make sense to do a battery replacement if you have lot of battery cycle left. I guess if one is at like 350 cycles, might as well get it done.

I have more than 500 charging cycles, according to the Device Info HW app, so that doesn't help me.

Yes, I made the purchase on the Google Store. Maybe I was signed in with same account that I use for Google Fi? On the checkout screen, it shows the discount for existing Fi customer and I added the discount code for the Pixel battery. On the payment screen, it shows both the discounts individually but the receipt shows one line item with the total discount. My total came out to $99 + tax.
Thanks for confirming. I'm also logged into my Google account that's tied to Fi when browsing the Google Store, but I still only see the new Fi subscriber offer when I go to choose service providers. I talked to customer service but they didn't have an immediate answer.

Looks like only certain 6a's are impacted and eligible. Neither of my phones bought from Google store were eligible.

Looks like only 1 of the 2 purchased at the same time from Google store qualifies for the $100 cash so submitted my claim. Wonder why the other doesn't qualify! BTW, I traded these two 6A phones towards new Pixel models at the Google store 2 months ago, so hoping I will still get the $100 cash.

Did you provide SSN and bank account for $100 cash?

Not mine, I've always used prepaid. I don't trust this third party processor. I'll take $150 since I always buy Google products.
Yeh. The last step of getting the cash they ask for your SSN... No thanks.
