Reading on a phone or tablet isn't even in the same ballpark as reading on eink. The reading experience is leaps and bounds better with eink.

Pretty good price for a color eink. I ended up going with a Boox Go Color 7 gen II. The reading experience is definitely better on kindles, but I like having the play store so I'm not limited to just Amazon. Also browsing the web and looking at discord and telegram is easier on the eyes at night before bed.

Yeah I figured it was graphic novels. I just did my first ones with "gunslinger origins"... really cool! Reading the series you only get hints about the evil guys for the most part and the graphic novels made me wish I'd kept it that way a bit haha...

I LOVE the Scribe so much... the updates have been amazing. I'm so big on handwriting and it's better than I could of dreamed it could be.

I'm assuming you've got a page turner clicker of some sort? I just discovered that and it's game changing! Anything else I should know about? What are your font/display settings on the Scribe? I'm doing two columns horizontal. I did some executive speed reading training and I can duplicate what they recommend... I always wondered how the hell I was supposed to get my text like that to read!

Isn't it the same dpi in black and white as the signature edition just with the added layer of color? You could turn it off while reading and only read in black and white? Am I wrong?

The color layer causes the text to be slightly grainier and less clear regardless of whether it's being used or not.

I ordered Kindle Colorsoft yesterday. Opted for trade-in for a Kindle Paperwhite which I have currently. It got delivered today and surprise surprise there were 2 boxes and 2 Kindle Colorsoft devices Smilie I called up Amazon and informed them. They said that I would have to return both devices and then they would send a replacement device, but since it would be too much of a hassle asked me to keep the 2nd device as an exception Smilie
