I just bought 4 of these from NEX in Honolulu since they were on clearance for $10.

Sad how small Xbox footprint is in stores these days to the point they're non existent.

we'll probably see other colors for less on prime day, but for those who want blue imo it's a good price.

Be sure to buy any Xbox controller with a credit card that gives an extra year of warranty. I've gone through 4 controllers in three years (including an 'Elite 2'). Reasons range from stick drift to failing bumper buttons. I'm never rough with them and I'd consider myself a casual gamer. It's probably why Costco's site doesn't sell them anymore (controllers are fully covered, unlike consoles and other electronics).

Agreed....However, it only works if you use it frequently....
I bought one from Target in late September 2022, only used it once in a while and it just started having stick drift recently when I start to use it more often.
It is still usable but can be really annoying. I have two Logitech F310s from 2015 and 2016 and never have this problem after hundreds of hours. That is said the F310s give much inferior experience in hand though they are much more durable.

Not really, this is what Phil Spencer wants. I'm happy for Microsoft!

I took the risk and got the Pulse Cipher One recently, the see-through red transparent newer one. That thing is so pretty; I had to 😂. After this, I am likely done with Microsoft stock controllers; 3rd party is way too strong now. Gamesir is money. I would only consider this if I got a great deal on them, in the 30ish range, and I HAD to have my pad wireless to play my games.

It may just be me but the quality of these controllers has been on the decline. I bought one in May and it started to show drifting problems in end of June. In a few days, it became completely out of control.

IMHO, if you are not that tight in budget, invest double the money and get a 3rd party premium one with longer warranty. That beats buying a few crappy 1st party ones like this in a year or two
