Good price but too late to prevent crabgrass. Buy it and saving for spring.

It's the fertilizer part they object to. BTW it's more than one city.
During the heavy summer rains product washes into the drainage system and watershed, causing algae blooms.

Can someone help and recommended what's the best fertilizers for spring, summer and fall?
So many variables to suggest one choice will work in all conditions, climates, habitation and grass types.

True, but as a Central Floridian, it doesn't make sense that you can still buy it at a local store.

I just got a new lawn installed. How do I use this? Just spread it on the grasS? I have tall fescue grass in zones 9-11

Not that great of a deal, I bought this exact stuff on Amazon on April 3rd for $20.14 and could use it didn't have to store it for months like you would now.

Wait, this is just pre-emergent, right? To setup the barrier that prevents weeds from germination?

It prevents a few grassy type weeds. It is also fertlizer, 30%. I found that info on a picture of the back of the bag on the bottom left.
