So I did the Hockey player trick, it worked, I bought the subscription... 15 min later I got an email asking for further verification... I'll update you guys on if this gets cancelled or what YouTube decide to do. It says no cancellations or refunds are possible, I got charged the $119, but SheerID is asking now for further proof.

It's likely when 100 people use the same college students name and info from the same college. Don't be surprised when they cancel a bunch of these "orders". Imagine the actual student trying to redeem this for himself and likely having issues. Dumb dumb.

Most large colleges use Sheer ID to force login. Lots of smaller schools will simply still take the birthday. Maybe it also might have something to do with privacy laws, or just as simple as a university not wanting Sheer ID to access their systems.

I was having trouble because I was picking big colleges. I picked a small school and it finally worked. Thank you!

I have used this before Youtube took over, last year I missed the window for student so went with Military for $199, I click the Student link and it is not available for me, only gives me the $199 deal again. Anyone know why this is happening? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

You have to use a different account/email. Your account now is attached to military pricing. Easiest fix is using a "new" email.

Can I apply this Student NFL Package to my existing YouTubeTV Subscription?
I do have a kid in college.....
I'm OK with 1 stream...I'm the only NFL Package Watcher....
I just dont want to have to login/out on YTubeTV to switch over to the NFL package.
