Not sure what the deal is anymore with Royal Oak, I used to swear by them but they just don't get as hot or burn as long as they used too a decade ago. I switched to Cowboy brand which seems to last longer and get hotter

Once you are on the "dead page" type "Royal Oak" into search.

The RO briquettes will show @ $7.xx. Put them in your cart and they should be $3.33.

In my experience, the hottest charcoal is Kingsford Professional from Costco. It is the best bang for your satisfaction when on sale.

Weird you say this, I used to love their lump but have gone back to Kamado Joe's brand, as the bags are just full of dust the last few times.

YES!!! I bought 5 bags of the same charcoal the last time it was this price and was disappointed in the burn time. I gave away the last 2 bags.
