No, limit 4 on this offer, for a total of $400 in gift cards. Working even if you bought during the last sale on June 21, and are technically within the 14 day purchase limit.

FYI you can't use these credits international. Gift cards purchased in the US can only be redeemed in the US. So if you plan on purchasing some to use international, don't. They won't work.

If you add Gift cards to your Uber account, Uber increases the price of the rides. Scumbag behavior. Ymmv

Does the gift card has expiration date?
Google AI says that once the cards are added to your account, they're treated as Uber Cash and do not expire.

The card itself might expire in 3 years after purchase date.

I add my gift cards to my account as soon as I get the email with the codes.

Same here. I don't use Uber for rides, but I do use Uber Eats and these Cheap giftcards from Costco combined with a decent BOGO from Uber eats makes for some nice savings. In my area, there are lots of restuarants, so lots of competition, and there's always some sort of deals and BOGO deals happening.
Remember the good ol days when you could stack a bogo with a promo code? 🥺

Always in for this deal as long as Uber Eats has BOGO offers.
I think you can also do those orders for pick up and save delivery charges.

Yes, always check Lyft prices as well.
The stories about gift cards getting a higher price is false and a myth. Don't believ it ? Pick credit card and uou can charge it to charge gift card after the ride. Case closed .

Yes! A recent $41 trip in the Uber app was $23 in Lyft! Maybe a difference in demand or algorithm...but, savings are savings.

Step 1. Check uber prices with phone with uber account that has gift card balance
Step 2. Check other phone with other uber account with no gift card balance
Step 3. Notice price difference for the same ride

Even if it was illegal, this is America circa 2025. What agency do you think has the wherewithal to investigate them, much less stop them?

Agreed I have two accounts on two different phones. One for work and one for personal. I use uber for work at least 10 times a week for the past 4 years and other than the normal change there has never been a difference in the hundreds I've checked since I heard this rumor. People believe what they want.

Does the price difference thing have to do with using a credit card that has built in discount vs gift card use with no discount? I know Chase Sapphire cards get a discount by default on Lyft, but it mentions that near the price

I would not be surprised to find out there were charging different prices. These services are masters at hiding true prices of things and dynamic prices.

I am heading to NYC on Monday. This is going to be perfect for saving money on an Uber from JFK to my hotel in midtown Manhattan which usually costs about $80 + tip. You can go Yellow cab OR a ride share and it's basically the same price, or within $5, in my experience. So, this is a fantastic deal. I'll probably get $200 worth.

Thanks for the heads up!

I know JFK isn't very accessible by public transportation but $80+ tip for a ride to the city from the airport is insane.
