I absolutely love Uber and Uber Eats, and I've really ramped up my use of Uber Eats to have groceries and even retail goods delivered because of the ability to get the GCs at Costco for 20% off (and 25% off when this deal is active). Interestingly, the primary way I spend is at Costco itself because I can get orders delivered for less than I'd pay by going into the store, and the hour of my time I save is worth a lot to me. The math:

+8% (Uber Eats marks up Costco prices by 8% if you've added your Costco Membership #)
+10% (The tip I usually give)
+5% (The average Service Fee I'm charged, but this can be less if you live closer to a Costco than I do)
+0% (My delivery fee is waived because I have Uber One, which I get free by charging it to my Delta Amex)

NET UBER EATS SURCHARGE: 23%

-25% (Purchasing Uber GCs using this deal and other times it's active)
-1% (You can earn one Delta Mile per dollar spent if you link your account, so I'll value those conservatively here)
-1% (You can also earn 100 miles from another airline if you click through their portal when ordering. Valued as 1% avg)
-0% (I earn 3% on my Robinhood Gold CC & 2% from my Costco Membership, but this 5% is earned shopping in-store also so I'll count as 0% here)

NET UBER EATS DISCOUNTS: 27%

BOTTOM LINE: I save about 4% by having my Costco grocery orders delivered to my door and I save about an hour of my time, which is worth a lot to me.

If you have two people on your Membership, you can order online with each one, up to 4 sets of 2 x $50 GCs each for this particular offer round. That means you can get 2x (4x(2x$50) = $800 per Membership for just $600.

Ignore the people who claim that Uber One, adding GCs to an account, etc cause promos to decrease/disappear and/or Uber fares to increase. That is nonsense that comes about by people noticing the fact that both pricing and promos are dynamic and falsely attributing the changes to the Uber One or GCs. My family and business has over a dozen accounts (some with and some without Uber One, some with and some without GC credits) and we've tested those theories plenty of times and have found absolutely no bearing on pricing or promos.

Not true. Promos have just become more common in the form of BOGOs or discounts for holidays, etc. I just got 30% off Lowes and a restaurant promo that allowed 4 subs for the price of 2. Just check under "offers".

My order got canceled. I suppose it could be because I was using the same card internationally and my bank may have rejected the transaction. Anyways, now it's not giving the $5 off. Has anyone been successfully able to reorder with the $5off?

At this 25% off and a 40% off up to $45 on groceries, I can order from wegmans and with delivery fees and tips still have a 30-40% discount on $100 worth of groceries...

ordered 2 last night, requested price adjustment, ordered 4 and was cancelled, then $5 off did not show in my cart when I tried to order 2 instead. I think 1 transaction every 14 days still applies.
