Roborock has way too many models. I avoid them because I can't keep up. Needs to consolidate down to 4

Most of the features don't add on a ton of value, but get corners and clean mop heads better. The newer robots do a very good job of avoiding obstacles and the new mopping methods are quite thorough.

Hard disagree. I had a $200 model for a couple years and while it was better than nothing, it was a constant headache getting trapped and manually emptying and refilling. I upgraded to a higher end one and it's night and day. It went from barely usable to keeping my house cleaner than it's ever been.

Some of the sales might already be over as I've seen a few prices go back up. It is possible they bring it back, but it could be that discounts are offered to different models.

do you think that 200 dollar model had 200 dollars worth of components? i get the cheap ones might not be as good, but the reality is that, theoritically, once the research is done, you can make one just about as capable as the high dollar one for only 200, taking away research and patent costs.
