I just got a 55" c4 for $865 (out the door including tax) at Best Buy after their 15% off. 65 was too big for the wall in bedroom. Also have a 77 c1 that we've had no issues with.
For those that thumb down this, keep in mind what I paid would be equivalent to the b4 series which is a step down and does not have the evo panel that the c4 does.

It was actually MARKED at $500 or did it ring up at the lower price? And where did you purchase? I have stock locally via the app at $699.98 currently.

c4 was 799 for 65 and 1299 for 77 c4 at mine. I have the 65 c2 right now so I might wait until c5 77 goes down to clearance next year.
