Pretty good price and I have used these in the past, pretty reliable although I had a few issues once and had to do the RMA w/ tp-link. It wasn't the worst experience.

On the product page, says: "Get 25% back on amount charged to an Prime Visa card. Learn more" under the "Free Returns" line.

I am a Prime Member and have a Prime Card so those two requirements might be needed.

Does tplink even update their firmware after a year or two? Getting stuck with a crappy router full of security vulnerabilities is no bueno.

Put a decent router as your gateway (facing the internet, does the actual routing, gets solid firmware or OS upgrade), then use the Decos as access points and you get the best of both worlds. Bonus point: the Decos decrease in processing since they no longer have to do any router processing (NAT traversal, ports, DNS forwarding, etc.).

Yep! Their backhaul over wired connection is nice as well! I went with ER605 for my gateway, and use two decos to handle the wifi in a two story house. They work well. Have had zero issues.

Very similar 6E tri-band with 6Hz band. Wonder if I should get this Amazon deal and return that since it covers more area with the second access point. What do you guys think?

6 GHz: 2402 Mbps (802.11ax, HE160)5 GHz: 2402 Mbps (802.11ax, HE160)2.4 GHz: 574 Mbps (802.11ax)these are 2x2 radios on all bands. if you system downs from 160mhz you looking at 1200 mbps on 5ghz and 6ghz. not worth imo for $150. if you can get it at 112 plus tax might be worth it then. unless you got some 6ghz clients and you can ethernet backhaul. your paying for that wifi 6e tech. put your money towards a high end wifi 6 that can offer triband or at least 4x4.

What's the hardware version sold on Amazon?
TP-Link site for firmware mentioned v3.6, v2.60, v2, v1.6, v1.
Edit: v3.6 is for XE70 Pro AXE4900 (slightly slower 2.4 GHz speed). The AXE5400 (XE75/Pro) uses a higher-end Qualcomm platform, while the AXE4900 (XE70 Pro) uses a more cost-effective chipset, resulting in slightly lower theoretical speeds but similar real-world performance for most users.
