This is my favorite "on the go" phone battery. If I havent charged my phone and need to leave the house, this is what I grab. I keep one in my bag.
Some will say "OMG its not Qi2, I cannot mentally handle it". However, it so slim that you hardly notice it…and it doesnt overheat. Great product. I literally have it on my phone now.

Is this basically the same as the Baseus but just rebranded? I got this Baseus one for about the same price. I really like the slim form factor but overheating is definitely a concern.https://a.co/d/dn5FeTX

YMMV may vary, but I have never had overheating issues with this battery. We have 3 of them.

FYI, the coupon can be used on multiple units in a single purchase - I just bought 2 together.

My wife could use one of these as she's always running her phone down to 0%. Of course, what would happen is she would run Both Batteries down to 0%.

Why not just quick charge with a cable? There is massive heat and power loss with wireless charging because it's extremely inefficient. My Pixel can charge 50% in 30 mins in the car.

Can you charge in your car when you arent in your car? I rarely drive anywhere.

I also dont have to carry around a cable and a charger. This attaches to my phone and its super thin.

I don't ever carry a charger. I have one in my car, one at work, and one at home. I can also charge other devices like earbuds, laptop, and tablet. No added weight in my pocket.

Thats the thing. It depends on your life style. I walk a lot, travel, dont have an office, visit clients, and have 4 kids with me at all day sports tournaments, etc. Chargers at home and in the car are great, but are useless during those activities. A morning trip, uber ride, 4 hour meeting and an evening flight necessitate carrying a charger. Same with an all day basketball tournament. We have as many as 6 games a day between the kids.

Or even if you havent fully charged and want to walk to dinner or a movie, etc. Grab a portable charger. Pop it on your phone and go.

These devices are useful for people that need power on the go. If you dont need that, well…they arent useful.

I think the overheating is from (some types of) case usage.

When you station your phone farther apart from a wireless charging pad, the distance causes energy losses (where i think the heat derives from).

I don't care enough to read deep into it, just my observation while I was charging phones with a thick case (removed the case to test my theory and no more heat issues).

I use a case always with this battery. I never have overheating issues. I do have overheating with a different Qi2 charger. I would be more inclined to believe that it results from using the charger in the sun or in a pocket.
