Unfortunately the better deals start after their preview sale today and are likely to be from daily deals

Target 360 members get access to some sales today

10% off Military coupon still works today, so you could stack that with the toy deal to get a little more off, and if you are able to get into a store that has a ton of toys on clearance right now, you could hypothetically buy a ton of toys for $40, get $10 off, making it $30, then get the 10% off from the coupon, saving you another $3, and then take an extra 5% off if you have a circle card.

Nice thought and part of that might have worked in the past. But I'm pretty sure the 10 off 40 won't apply to clearance. From the terms "Excludes Lego, Video Games, Bullseyes Playground, Funko, Kid's Learning, Kid's Home, Coloring/Activity, Children's books, Trading Cards, School & Art supplies and Clearance."

Yes not really a preview. For example, the diaper deal. Pretty annoying for them to say this.

They've definitely been getting worse with the offers lately. Whether it's the bonus rewards (spend $70 TWICE, get $15 back) or the straight up discounts ($5 off $50) it's definitely made it easier for me to avoid them. The only time it worked out in my favor recently was when they had a "buy $80, get $10 in rewards" that stacked with a $10 gc reward for buying laundry essentials. So it netted me 25% back total.

Though at least their rewards program is still open to the average shopper unlike Best Buy, whose program only gives you rewards if you use their credit card now.

So many exclusions on toys I don't even bother looks for something that qualifies

The $10 off $40 in toys does apply to clearance. I just checked. It may be in the exclusions, but as of 4am PDT, it's still taking $10 off of $40 and up clearance toys in the Target app.

That's cool. Any idea if it works in store?

Not sure. But, the clearance deals on toys in stores are already at 50% to 70% off, where online they seem capped at 15% off.

FYI: Unless they've changed it recently price matches stack with promotions. Though I believe that the stores they match have been reduced now.

My local Target only matches their website, begrudgingly. (I live in a small college town) They won't even take manufacturer's coupons anymore. I'm not sure if that's the new law of the land at all Targets, or just mine.

Just checked again, and the $10 off still works on clearance toys online. Super weird that it works online, and not in stores.
