I was looking at this as well. But a week or two ago it was 358 dollars for the chip, asrock steel legend motherboard, and a 240mm white AIO. So, I'm thinking we will see something better than this on sale in the next few days as all these big sales start.

I'd avoid NewEgg at all costs. They aren't the same great company they use to be. A lot of scams sending you defective products and then claiming you damaged it.

Can you provide sources for this? And please ensure the sources show that the item was sold and shipped from Newegg, not a 3rd party seller.

I build PCs for customers, have built over 300 PCs over the last 10 years. I almost exclusively buy parts from Newegg (and sometimes microcenter). Out of the 300+ PCs, I have one where the RAM stick was defective, and it was exchanged within a week. That is a total of over 1000 orders on my Newegg account, with one being defective for a RAM stick. That also came sealed and thus the defect was more likely on the Corsair side rather than the Newegg side. So I would beg to differ but I would love to see the sources with proof. Will wait for a reply, thanks.

GamersNexus did a video on it. Mostly to me it seemed like shitty costumer service rather than intentional malace by sending known bad parts out.

Newegg used to be my go to place to build pcs 20 some years ago, great support. Now not so much, they banned my 20+ year old account because my wife and i purchased a gift card in the same address. Few years back delivery left a expensive gpu outside which got stolen and support just laughed and closed my ticket. newegg is a last resort spot for me, but recently they been having some really good deals on builds, great if no issues, otherwise you're SOL

There's a time when I only bought Intel. Just doesn't make sense anymore with what you can get out of AMD.

Newegg is sleazy at best.

I bought a video card on a sale, and a mobo combo as well.

Video card was denied any returns (told that I'd have to go through MSI to get it fixed). I didn't want my NEWLY PURCHASED video card to be swapped out with a refurb... I've no clue why it was denied, but it was denied, even though on the product page there's returns there in fine print....

A few months later I bought a mobo combo... It was an asus + i7 CPU at the time. Mobo was faulty. Newegg, rather than take the return, said NO RETURNS, you have to go through manufacturer to get a replacement (I didn't want a replacement, I wanted a return for my shotty product... ).

All in all, i lost money on my sale, due to the shipping hassle, AND add the fact I had to EAT two refurb parts (this was a build that a customer and I agreed on, for parts purchase + labor - I play the honor system, if it's a refurb, i'll state to customer it's a refurb, end of day)
