Even at full price this is worth it - a complicated build with an end product that's tons of fun to play with and quite substantial. It's large but its big built in handle makes for great swooshing. The landing gear can come out easily but that's not hard at all to fix with alternate instructions using the pieces included in the set.

This was available as an "in store only" clearance item on 07-05-25 Saturday at Target in Manhattan Beach, CA for $55 as part of a 50% off clearance sale. I hear clearances differ from store to store and of course inventory is often not restocked and depleted quickly

Thanks for the tip. I just called my local Target in Minneapolis and they have it for $55 too! I was disappointed after the box I got from Macy's was in really bad condition and I returned it. I'll definitely be picking up this set.
