AWU1 and AWU2 have very few differences – unless you want black, the AWU2 isn't worth it IMO.
AWU1 can be had for less than $450 certified refurbished from places like A4C (featured on SD before): https://a4c.com/products/apple-wa...efurbished

Rumors say that that AWU3 is not going to improve anything other than connectivity. I wouldn't buy it at this price, but a good, refurbished deal could be worth it.
