So I've bought this brand before. Works great with no issues. I will say though, while the roll itself looks shiny, the print result comes out the same as it was a matte roll. So, if the shiny part is keeping you from buying it, don't let that stop you. It's fantastic filament at a wonderful price.

I took a chance on a spool of this a couple months ago it looked like an interesting color. It was an interesting color and printed great. I can hardly look at my normal colored spools. Yellow green orange red blue ect seem mindless to me now. They are the colors used to make cheap toys. This company has the most interesting colors I've seen so far on my one year journey.

I just got my rolls a few days ago. I can confidently say that it does NOT look like matte black. However, it is not a shiny reflective eyesore either. I would say that it looks much more like "normal" filament than shiny though.

Prints fine. Not very silky. Able to use as standard black pla. Just a heads up to those using it in the ams units - these rolls don't support tearing off the cardboard sides and transferring to a plastic spool. You'll need to use a spool winder.

Just bought 4 on Tuesday . This filament was pretty rough on my build plate. Thinking I'll return the other 3
