I had been waiting for the price of this monitor to drop for months now. It has been stubbornly stuck at $1200.
I already have the QD-OLED version (PG32UCDM). That is an excellent monitor, however raised blacks is an issue for all QD-OLEDs. Figured I'll get the WOLED version to go alongside that monitor for my dual monitor setup.
This monitor has a 'semi-matte' coating, which is to say it's matte, but not as pronounced. Asus has announced new monitors for their 2025 lineup. Those will not use DSC. So, I was going to wait for those. However, they've switched to a glossy display for those. If you want deep blacks with a non-glossy screen these or the LG model are the only two options.

YMMV but I purchased this monitor as 'like new' from Amazon Resale with the Prime Day discount and what showed up was a new in box item. The Asus seal on the box wasn't even broken and registered fine for the 3 year warranty on Asus website. I paid $730 + tax.
