Setting the gamma to 2.2 seems to be the solution for brightness issue in a bright room. The default is 2.6

Thanks! Same price at Best Buy... had bought the TV last month for my daughter for $899, they now have it at $799 and they did a $100 price match. Don't get the 5 year warranty at Best Buy though so Costco is a better deal if you are a member.

I bought the 85" from Costco about 1 week ago for $1299, so requesting a price adjustment now. Saving $300 would be amazing. This is a really good TV. I put it in my bedroom and it is like having an IMAX theater in there now.

What was the regular price for the $999 85" TV? Very tempted to order now.

How is this TV different than the QM7K since they share the same panel?

They may require you to return the tv to them and rebuy.

Was wondering same thing. It seems qm7k has better contrast and glossy screen. I went with the qm7k but having buyers remorse since the Costco qm6 pro has much more bang for buck (install, 5 year warranty)

Better contrast is an understatement. According to Rtings, the 75" QM6 Pro has 312 dimming zones, while even the 65" version of the QM7K has 966 zones. That's a massive step up in FALD performance and will lead to the QM7K being much closer to OLED than the QM6 Pro. I'd stick with the QM7K.
