I have this device and it's great. Super snappy. The only drawback is some bloatware that was easily removed with the help of https://github.com/0x192/universa...-debloater
Highly recommend at this price, especially if you don't care about the successor's upgrades (eg 3k screen).
Don't forget that you can also get as high as 10% cashback.

Also, the fact that it launched with Android 14 in 2025 (Android 15 was released in June 2024) and is still on Android 14 halfway through the year doesn't bode well for long-term software support. Lenovo has never been great about this, though the Legion Tab is promised three OS updates and four years of security patches. Just don't expect them to arrive quickly -- Android 16 is on the way, and it's still stuck on Android 14 with no timeline for getting Android 15

The Tablet I am talking about the 9" OLED RedMagic that will sell for $521 if you buy it early. This is what I want. The difference in watching movies between OLED and LCD is night and day so I want the OLED screen.

The main issue I would have with the RedMagic would be the USB placement. It would make it a no-go for Kishi/USB mobile device controller users. The Legion has 2 USB-C ports and the second port allows you to mount the Legion vertically in a Kishi to play bullet hell/MAME games in the proper format. The Legion Gen 4 is right around the corner in the US, but the cost difference for me isn't worth having a micro-sd slot in my case. This is strictly a streaming tablet using Cortex and Kishi V3 Pro for me.

Red magic seems to be the better buy imo with the oled screen and much faster 8 elite processor

strictly a streaming tablet and some emulation. I am sure you can figure out which joystick works on the Redmagic. But the streaming is why I am buying it... OLED... 1600nit max brightness with HDR.
I was all about getting the Lenovo, but I decided to save $$$ and I got the iplay 60 mini turbo instead for $130 last November. I love this tablet but crave a OLED screen and some brightness. Plus, I want to get into gaming... if I find one I like.

I meant the Legion is strictly a game streaming tablet for my usage. OLED is nice on the RedMagic, but USB placement unfortunately for me is a no-go. Other than that, the RedMagic seems like a great tablet.
