If it's electric won't there be a chance of static discharge when working with sensitive electronics?

Not really any extra risk, get a wrist strap and have fun or just touch a non critical part of chassis at least.

I have their E2 Ultra with 0.6Nm of torque, which is quite capable. With 0.2Nm of torque you may find yourself manually tightening or loosening screws.

The Amazon one looks like it comes with 50 bits compared to the Walmart version which has 25 bits. The case to hold all the bits differs as well (of course it'd be larger to hold more bits) but not only in size but in form factor as the 25 bit case is a flatter rectangle and the 50 bit case is more a squared off cylinder.

I have this one. I like it, I like the magnetic case and bits. But it sucks for torque. I usually have to "start" the unscrew by hand (I still use this, just not the motor) and then you can power it. Considering these are really for delicate electronic work like laptops/phone etc, I don't think this is a big deal. If you are throwing together full size PCs.... ehhh maybe not.

I bought this from walmart in a similar past deal. I am still trying to figure out its true purpose. The torque is not sufficient to loosen a hard and tight screw or even tighten a screw till the end. I have a ikea set with 0.7nm torque and then I also have a dewalt drill/driver. needless to say, I automatically reach out to my dewalt for most of the works. once in a while I use the Ikea one and I didnt find any true purpose with this Fanttik. Deal or no deal, this is a no go for me. I didnt try it out for too long after I bought it and couldnt return now it since I am out of return window.

It's a precision screwdriver... if it were super torquey people would probably complain that it strips fasteners.

It's best to 'start' by hand with small fasteners, whether loosening or tightening - to avoid stripping or cross-threading. Motor's meant to eliminate all the tedious manual motion in between

Yeah it really depends on what you are doing. If you are doing a lot of small tablet/laptops then this is perfect. Super light weight and comfortable.

However it's absolutely useless for house screws.

Only get this if you are taking apart many smaller devices with many small screws

fyi, these are all just rebranded from XIAOMI Mijia. Be careful when manually torque or breaking loose a tight screw beyond mobile devices as the gear's teeth are known to break if above it's limit eventually and many have replaced it by opening it up [youtube.com] - I'm in the same situation right now trying to find the right N20 motor with gear and rpm to replace mind (N20 v3 RPM 100 through 200 works well) from aliexpress. It's recommended to use a manual screwdriver to break a screw loose, and this to remove with ease in those cases (computers screws, etc)

These are amazing for small mobile electronics, not strong enough for much else, but perfect for its intended purpose and loved for it. See review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfiWH-6eoxU
