These are open earbuds which probably have a similar reaction to bone conduction headphones--you either love them or hate them. I assume that's the reason for the return rate.
A few things I enjoy about these.
-Surprisingly good bass response and overall sound quality.
-When positioned correctly, the sound stage is very good since they are open air.
-LDAC support from the newest firmware update.
The thing that isn't documented well is if you want the higher quality Bluetooth connection, you need to change the preference in the app. And this is only visible after firmware update.
These will not be contenders to high quality IEM's--that's not what they're for. I use them myself because of small ear canals and the need to still hear what's going on around me. The microphone quality is good enough for work meetings, from the feedback I get from others.
I used to use shoulder or neckband sneakers for when working around the house, when I want to hear what is happening around me. (especially outdoors/yard work), But these have largely displaced those. I use noise canceling for cutting grass to overcome mower noise. I once ran into a wasps nest that I couldn't hear, so I use these for when doing other types of yard work besides mowing.
These are stable enough for jogging too, as long as you don't mind the mild pinch it takes to hold them in place. Doesn't bother me, but my wife didn't like it. I've lost the silicone pieces that are supposed to soften that sensation. I'm not sure how important they are for comfort.
Sound quality wise, they are surprising well balanced-far better than the others I've tried (off brand ones and Aerofit 2). Like all open backs they do lack low bass. I would recommend the Aerofit 2 if around the ear is preferred. Sound quality of aeroclip sounds more natural to me although maybe a little less overall bass. The Aerofit 2 tries to tune the bass higher, but to me it was really all lower mids and upper bass, so the net result was a little worse and muffled. It is adjustable for fit, while the clip is just adjustable by your placement on the ear. Battery life has been good, with no issues.
Downsides? Not for critical listening. Lacks low bass. Looks like an odd earring, especially the lighter colored ones. Comfort might be variable.
Pros- hear surroundings, tuning sounds natural, very stable on ear, good app for EQ and customization

Not necessarily true. I did not like the sound shocks at all. However I really like the baseus open earphones. And I say this is someone who does not like open ear over earphones.

do yourself a favor, and stop buying soundcore
it's trash compared to what earfun is selling.
Soundcore, Earfun, and soundpeat all look so alike
