Fine. I still wouldn't recommend them though because a majority of people who enjoy the sport even a little bit will very quickly outgrow these paddles. I gave mine (similar set) away after about a month to some kids

Bare minimum I'd recommend something like this Vinsguir. Currently $20 which is pretty reasonable for an entry level carbon surface paddle.
