Great tablet. I bought one from Ali pre-tariffs for less (and for the higher config), but have no regrets.

Looking for a tablet for my senior mother. This or the A9+ for $132 https://a.co/d/iIgKLSI

Any insights on which will be more intuitive, easy to operate, etc?

EXTRAFIVE code still works. You can get additional 5% off. I created a new email account and signed up with a coupon code a while ago. That code had $10 value but it expired already. So, there is only EXTRAFIVE code for now.

I have Samsung A9+ 128G. It is decent Android tablet for a good price.

Samsung used to sell tablets with only 32G. I have a few of them and they drive me crazy.
After the bloatware, the user only gets 8G to 10G space. You can hardly install anything useful.

My current Samsung A9+ 128G used up 57G already with only basic apps. I don't have any games just reading apps, youtube, social media apps, email apps, movie apps. If it only came with 64G, I will be in trouble.

Things I don't like:
The screen resolution is not impressive but there are some setting with brightness and font size that you can adjust.
Some bloatware you can't uninstall. So, it is better to get 128G version.
No fingerprint login.

Things I like:
Came in Android 14. Samsung upgraded the Android version to15. Samsung should provide more upgrade with 2-3 years.
Excellent battery life.
Choices of screen protectors and tablet cases in ebay and Amazon
There are people who develop Android upgrade for Samsung tablet. In a few years, you can replace the battery and upgrade the future Android system. (I am doing that to some of my old Samsung tablets: replacing batteries and upgraded with open source Android)

Since I don't have Lenovo Tab Pro, I can't compare them. The Lenovo Tab Pro is 12.x inch tablet while Samsung A9+ is 11 inch tablet. It depends on the user. I prefer smaller one because i am holding it like a book. Some people put the tablet on the desk and they don't mind the weight.

So far, I like this tablet. I was worried about the NIT being only at 500 but it is bright enough for me since I've only been using it inside the house. The auto brightness sucks as it dims the screen all the way down to save battery, it seems. I think this tablet will only get two future os updates. The family likes to use the pen for their candy crush type of games, and I can run most of the emulators on it as well.

To be sure, you mean 400 NITS, right? It looks like they only make this model at 400 (page 3). https://psref.lenovo.com/syspool/...o_Spec.pdf

Anyone who experienced this Lenovo vs Galaxytab S7 FE?

Also, would be nice if Lenovo had trade in to reduce the costs.

Worth it to upgrade over the Samsung A9+ 11" 8 GB, but right now that one is $150 at Sams Club, which is hard to resist.
The A9+ is terrible, slow 60mph chip
This Lenovi 8300 and Pixel Tablet get over 200mph
iPad 10 & 11 over 400mph for $300

Does that mean it's fast or not? How does it compare to current gen iPads?
The Lenovo 8300 chip speed is over 250mph
Google Pixel G2 200mph $280
Samsung A9+ is slow 55mph with updates $150
iPad 10 A14 400mph $250
iPad 11 A16 500mph $300

Anything over 150mph is fast for the next 4 years.

Also, Samsung A-series does not support a stylus. This Lenovo tablet and the Pixel tablet do work well with a stylus. I use a stylus a lot in my work.

It is a great tablet. I own one for more than a year and it is works pretty good for daily media consumption and browsing. The pen is a great addition however I keep loosing it due to the way how it attaches to the device. Size is great 12.7" - for the price it has better value than other top brands.

I don't know much about the S7 FE. I have the S7 and this Lenovo; the S7 is faster and has a better display. However, I use the Lenovo more due to its size of the display, I connect a keyboard and use it as laptop.

How did you do this? Would you be willing to PM me about your ways? I'm really interested in following suit!

Snagged one! EXTRAFIVE worked as well as their student verification to bring it down even more. I was considering the Galaxy Tab A9+ 256GB open box from Best Buy for around $150. But I think this tab and its performance warrants the extra $100 based on the reviews I'm reading about both tablets.
