Anyone who experienced this Lenovo vs Galaxytab S7 FE?

Also, would be nice if Lenovo had trade in to reduce the costs.
They do have trade in, right above the 'Add To Cart' button, but valuation was pretty low. Last week trade in on a Galaxy Tab S7 was $43 - Lenovo has had this $279 price for a few weeks.

I've been looking for a B&M store to see it in person. Best Buy has a few stores that indicate they have a display, but it is the P12 model that seems to have a lot of screen lag scrolling or swiping.

I don't know much about the S7 FE. I have the S7 and this Lenovo; the S7 is faster and has a better display. However, I use the Lenovo more due to its size of the display, I connect a keyboard and use it as laptop.
Thanks for the info. I was looking for a a replacement for my S7. It's actually fine and I don't 'need' to replace it, but I figured a larger screen and faster tablet would be nice. trading screen quality and performance for a larger screen is not worth it TO ME (YMMV).

Add in the limited updates to only the next Android 16, I'll wait it out.

Worth it to upgrade over the Samsung A9+ 11" 8 GB, but right now that one is $150 at Sams Club, which is hard to resist.
I don't see the Samsung A9+ at Sams. Is it at-club only?

Snagged one! EXTRAFIVE worked as well as their student verification to bring it down even more. I was considering the Galaxy Tab A9+ 256GB open box from Best Buy for around $150. But I think this tab and its performance warrants the extra $100 based on the reviews I'm reading about both tablets.
Where do you stop?
I have some numbers showing you the actual speeds of the tablet compared to a Gen 8 Elite Chip. These percentages ARE ACCURATE.
The fastest is the Gen 8 Elite... lets call this 100%... represents SD 8 Elite tablets.
The MT8300 is at 69% compared to the Elite. Represents THIS tablet.
The G2 is at 45% compared to the Elite. This represents the Pixel tablet.
Finally The SD695 runs at 22% compared to the Elite. This represents the Tab S9+

And now my question again, where do you stop? Because I am planning to buy the Redmagic tablet for $521 tomorrow. And based on the specs I believe it is worth the extra $240... that is why I ask you... where do you stop?
I stream on my tablet to watch TV and movies most of the time. And I want OLED. I also like small tablets vs big tablets... sub 9" is my favorite size. I crave speed. So Redmagic Astra Gaming Tablet hits every thing on my list and it includes UFC 4.1 (even faster internal harddrive) 12GB and 256GB and SD 8 Elite and I feel for $521, this is a very good deal.

I have Samsung A9+ 128G. It is decent Android tablet for a good price.Samsung used to sell tablets with only 32G. I have a few of them and they drive me crazy. After the bloatware, the user only gets 8G to 10G space. You can hardly install anything useful. My current Samsung A9+ 128G used up 57G already with only basic apps. I don't have any games just reading apps, youtube, social media apps, email apps, movie apps. If it only came with 64G, I will be in trouble. Things I don't like:The screen resolution is not impressive but there are some setting with brightness and font size that you can adjust. Some bloatware you can't uninstall. So, it is better to get 128G version. No fingerprint login.Things I like:Came in Android 14. Samsung upgraded the Android version to15. Samsung should provide more upgrade with 2-3 years.Excellent battery life.Choices of screen protectors and tablet cases in ebay and AmazonThere are people who develop Android upgrade for Samsung tablet. In a few years, you can replace the battery and upgrade the future Android system. (I am doing that to some of my old Samsung tablets: replacing batteries and upgraded with open source Android)Since I don't have Lenovo Tab Pro, I can't compare them. The Lenovo Tab Pro is 12.x inch tablet while Samsung A9+ is 11 inch tablet. It depends on the user. I prefer smaller one because i am holding it like a book. Some people put the tablet on the desk and they don't mind the weight.
I believe XDA has an app that removes or disables 87 Samsung apps (bloatware).
But even if you change the batteries, you are talking about OLD tablets, so old that most new software would not run properly on such an old OS. Not to mention you will go bald from pulling your own hair out for waiting so long for anything.
And as far as I know, your tablet comes locked and it is usually not possible to unlock your tablet. Hence, don't expect a third party OS to work. And even if you got your tablet unlocked and you installed Linage or something... chances of your tablet working 100% is very low. Too many issues with installing third party ROMS.
I also like smaller tablets but I like SUB 9" or either 8.4" or 8.8" or 9.0"

I'm going to get crucified by many of you for asking this question but I am curious about what the ideal size of tablet is if the primary use is media consumption and or a reader and one that you're either holding or is used as a nightstand media consumption/Tidal controller.

Does that mean it's fast or not? How does it compare to current gen iPads?

It's fast. The iPad chip benchmark's a little bit better but you're not going to notice any difference. On devices like this the bottleneck is not the chip anyways it's the OS. But Android is a little more friendly than iPad when it comes to downloading stuff like revanced and new pipe and using extensions on browsers and ad blockers.

Looking for a tablet for my senior mother. This or the A9+ for $132 https://a.co/d/iIgKLSI

Any insights on which will be more intuitive, easy to operate, etc?
Looking one for my mom to replace her Samsung Galaxy A7. I'm considering the A9+ but JEEZUS all the Samsung crapware on the thing gets in the way and confuses her!
