Same thing just started happening to me a couple of days ago! Only happens when I use transparency or noise canceling. I'm debating whether to get these or wait for a possible Pro 3

Personally, I'm hesitant to buy the Pro 2's right now given the rumors the Pro 3's might come out this fall. Not because of the features, but because they'll nerf the 2's via software like the did the 1's when the 2 came out.

It should have been a recall. Instead it was basically just a poorly advertised extended warranty for a manufacturing defect.
I have two Gen 1 Pros with this issue but it didn't become bad until just after the 3 year mark of ownership (both left pod too unfortunately).
Do agree on your second point. Could easily see this lower on BF if Gen 3s are announced in the fall.
