These have replaced my Airpods Pro 2s. Much more comfortable (Apple's in-ears are especially uncomfortable for me) and I even like the sound signature more (less low bass given the lack of isolation, but the mids/upper mids seem more upfront). The noise cancelling is 70-80% of the Pro 2s, but works well if you are using them walking around outside where you can't be too absorbed (awareness mode makes these even better). Only downside is the battery life (~3hrs with noise cancelling) which has been a bit annoying on the few plane trips I've done recently (8 hr + flights).

FYI, if you buy from Amazon WITH AppleCare, you can't cancel your order because they classify AppleCare as 'Digital Goods'.

What about returns? Would you be able to return the AirPods but not the Apple care?

I believe so. I had to deal with chat. The eventually made an 'exception' (which I don't like as I'm sure it's some sort of strike/blemish on my account) to get it cancelled.

I got these 3 days ago. The ANC is only for the sound you hear, not the mics. There is a voice isolation feature but my wife says that makes me sound muffled and i sound better on standard. Did some testing on Zoom calls using my 2019 Airpod Pros and these mics sound better.

Funny. For clarity, I guess I should have worded my statement as "I am most interested in active noise cancellation on the microphone while I speak, to determine how well these remove background noise heard by those listening to my voice".
