"non-stick" with no details is never a good sign, is it? I'd rather just cast iron, even if that's more $.

Bought this last December when it went to $50. Game changer for winter cooking inside here in the northeast.

I have an induction cooktop and set this right in the middle, with the cover and the hood vent this greatly reduces the grease everywhere . In the winter I just leave it on my cooktop . Well worth the money . Breakfast lunch and dinner it gets used .

Is it ridiculously weak like the blackstone electric griddle?, slow to heat up and cools down hundreds of degrees if anything cold is placed on it?

I did decent smash burgers but I didn't push it as it's non stick coating . Since I haven't used it in a couple months I'm sorry I can't give you better details. When the weather warms up above 40 I don't mind using the real griddle .

But I was happy with my burgers , I did steak once or twice. Breakfast all the time , lunch more of toasted sandwiches, asparagus/vegetables it's good.

Going off memory I don't remember being disappointed when cooking the meat , meaning I don't think the temp dropped too much .

I'd take a Quick Look at YouTube . But again I'm happy with it for my use case.

Might work well, but is not as big as other griddles which are frequently 21-22".

No mention of it in the "what's included" section so probably not.

Yes. It removes to be washed . The lid removes very easily as well. Lid / cover is dishwasher safe
