pcie 5.0 vs 4.0. unless your motherboard supports it, you won't notice much of a difference

Why the downvotes? Isn't $170 after 10% cashback for the 2TB a historic low? Was about to pull the trigger but saw some downvotes… seems good to me.

Apparently it's not really noticeable even if your motherboard does support it for day to day tasks is what I heard

For your average user, gaming, office work, entertainment, no real noticeable difference. For anyone who does productivity, large transfers, and need that extra iops performance like databases and what not, you'll see a very nice improvement. Honestly tho, it's completely worthless to most, and not worth the premium.
