Heads up that Konami released a Switch 2 version that doubles the frame rate and resolution. The original switch version (the one listed in this post) has no upgrade path to the Switch 2 version

Yep! Switch 1 version is compatible with both systems, Switch 2 version is only compatible with the new system. Key cards are lame, but even if they had the switch 2 version on the cart it wouldn't play on switch 1. It's also lame that Konami has no upgrade path between the two versions. Very anti-consumer imo

Switch 2 version is key card. Don't think it would work on the Switch 1.

Thanks for that. I had to cancel right away. I searched on amazon for switch 2 version and nothing showed up. How do I know if it's switch 2 version or not?

In the US, switch 2 version is digital only. For the game key card, you would have to buy/import from play Asia or somewhere else.

Digital only for NA, but the JP physical version (key card) is a global release with all languages
