- You primarily play single player games that have PS5 Pro Support. Multiplayer/Online games don't benefit nearly as much from this.
- Most of the games you already own are digital. Having to buy the disc drive is an added cost.
- You already have a PS5 you can resell to make up the cost of this.
- You primarily PC game at 4K and badly need to upgrade your GPU. GPU costs are out of control and if you game at 4K, you'll spend a lot more than this to upgrade.

They just started making one base console and adding the disc for people who actually still buy disc. Even I'm finding it a hassle to swap discs when it still takes up the same HDD space to play the game.
Is that where you store yours? Is that common?
