Wish they had a deal like this last summer when I actually needed this! Pretty crazy how much this dropped off since the 128GB DIMMs came out earlier this year.
Now if only the same could be said for some 96GB+ ECC DIMMs...

I paid this price for the 64GB kit less than a month ago. I'd consider returning and buying this, but I'm nowhere near utilizing the 64GB I already have.

This should work nicely in my gaming laptop. Plus it stated I will get 10% back for using Amazon card.

is mobo also a limiting factor? the laptop i chose says it only supports up to 2x32gb but the chipset theoretically allows for up to 128gb or more

fyi, they all say max of 64gb, but that's just because there were no 48gb chips at release.

These are 48GB DIMMs, not 96. And I don't think 128GB even exists, they go up to 64GB, but usually come in kits of 2, in case you missed it.This is tempting, but I am already on 64GB total. Can't justify bumping it up to 96GB.
I was talking about total RAM capacity kits (48x2, 32x4, 64x2, etc.), not individual DIMMs. I don't think that shit will never be cheap for non-enterprise customers with deeper pockets for single 128GB DIMMs until a decade later.
