Kind of surprising they still have 2022 models in stock, but rtings gave it a 9/10 for mixed usage.

The Sony Bravia XR A95K is an incredible TV for any usage. It looks remarkable in dark rooms because of its nearly infinite contrast ratio and ability to display inky blacks without blooming around bright objects. This also makes it an incredible TV for watching HDR content, as vivid colors and bright highlights pop. It's great in a bright room thanks to its incredible reflection handling, but unfortunately, any bright light sources also cause the black levels to rise. The TV is exceptional for gaming as it has HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, VRR support, crystal-clear motion, and low input lag.

I bought the Bravia 8 from Costco for $1,300 2 months ago and it came with 5 years warranty, even if you pay for Costco membership just to buy the TV is better than this TV from 2022.

At first I thought this was the A95L and I thought damn that is a pretty good deal, but then I noticed it's the A95K, which is old af at this point and overpriced at $1500

You gotta be WAY more specific. LG makes a range of OLEDs that all perform differently. Is it better than a new Tandem OLED G series? No. But it's better than just about ebverything else they make. Amazing price for an incredible TV.

A95K is a QD OLED which is superior than WOLED. I purchased this TV in 2022 and the quality is much better than my S90D. The Sony A95K pairs OLED's perfect blacks with quantum-dot brightness to deliver amazing 4K images. This TV is a Master series that offers a slim "One Slate" design to hide powerful screen-acting speakers and built-in subwoofers for room-filling sound. You get two full-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 ports for smooth 4K@120 Hz gaming with low lag, a responsive Google TV interface with Dolby Vision support, and an optional BRAVIA Cam for gestures and video chat. While it comes at a premium and some enthusiasts might crave extra HDMI ports or sub-10 ms lag, its out-of-the-box accuracy and immersive audio make it one of the most compelling OLEDs you can buy.

The 65in S90D is QD-OLED as well. The S90D lacks Dolby Vision support. Sony generally has better image processing but I'm not sure how the S90D compares with this older model. I'm happy with the S90D at the price point I paid but I would have loved to go Sony if they were a little cheaper at the time.

Why would we buy a 2022 model if it's more expensive than the C4/S90D from last year?

Because it is a better tv? It isn't always about when something came out. I'll admit I'm kind of tempted. If you want a QDOLED Sony, your only other choices are A95L and Bravia 8 Mk II, both of which are at or near $3000 for a 65".

The lg c3 is ranked higher and is routinely cheaper than this for a 65". I don't see a reason to get this. Seems over priced.
