I will add in one other issue some people may be running into. The entire mechanical linkage blade through shaft to electric motor weights less than the equivalent on a gas mower. Which means it has less inertia - rotational inertia if you want to be persnickety. Which means it will bog down a little faster when you have anything other than a single clump of really thick fescue. The self-propelled mowers from Greenworks claim to use a constantly varying speed based on the electronics constantly monitoring everything. The push mowers use a constant speed for the blade tips. Either way you aren't doing the same level of maintenance as you need to do every spring with a gas mower. But you need to keep the blades well sharpened, and the retaining nut is plastic on the Kobalt/early Greenworks push mowers, so do not crank it down like some people do.

Got the one with self propelled with extra 4AH battery from last deal, it's typically 50% less powerful than my Honda 216. not very happy with it

I'm hoping it will mow my 1/3rd of an acre Bermuda. No battery energy going into propelling it.

I've had the cobalt version of this mower and it's super light. I traded it in for the propelled one and it's also significantly lighter than any gas mower I've had.

Really appreciate the info as I too use a Honda and wondered if an 80V could match the power.

I have a version of this sold by Harbor Freight under their Atlas brand. I have 1/4 acre and have no issue mowing it and have been happy with it. And I am using self propelled the entire time as well.

Can you find a better one? Even searching FP deals for this model over the last 5 years, the only better deal I found was a price mistake.

I've never owned a gas mower. But compared to my previous 40V Greenworks mower, this one is heavier and cuts St Augustine much better than the lighter one. It does so self propelled with about 3/4 of a 4AH battery on my 1/4 acre lot. Overall I like this mower for its Pro features like it being easy to fold and stow-away and being self propelled.

Yeah it might not be as powerful as gas but it sure as hell is not half the power. This mower will do the job unless you are cutting extremely long (8"+) wet grass then it MIGHT bog down. I have the same push but older model because mine is 5 years old and can tell you it does the job.

It is lighter, do not have to worry about gas maintenance, and quiet. If your yard is 1/2 acre or less, I would give it a shot if you are considering it.

80V greenworks tools are extremely strong and have replaced all my gas powered tools. The blower and chainsaw do eat batteries but have very equivalent results to gas.

This is a great deal. I have this with a 60V battery. It does a great job.My battery, after 3-4 years, is starting to not last as long so debating whether to get the lawn mower with battery or spend 130.00 on just the battery.

Yes, it is very quiet. I had a family member inside the house and I was outside mowing. They didn't even hear me outside mowing until I came inside to get a drink.
