I bought this saw a little over a year ago and it's awesome. I had been using a worm drive circular saw for probably 15-20 years prior, but where I needed to be working for several months had no power. Not only is it much lighter than that beast of a worm drive, but I haven't bogged it down yet (framing work, 3/4 PT plywood, hardwoods, etc). Works with all my 20V batteries: standard DeWalts, Powerstacks, and off brands

Been waiting to find a deal on this saw for quite some time. Even had the the exact one in my cart waiting for Prime day to see if it would go down in price. Yesterday price was $199 today $139 can't beat that! Great deal just bought it!

I had the 60v FlexVolt of this for years but decided to downsize, sold that one, and got this. Used it for cutting a countertop using a laminate blade through cutting up 2 x 4's using a framing blade. The 60v definitely had more power behind it but this 20v has done everything I've needed it to.

The first trait caught my attention is that this saw is perfect for left-handed people. It provides best visual feedback during sawing. Most designs today are just for right-handed people......

Home Depot has a 4-ah plus 6ah set with charger for $199 right now plus two free tools. Return the tools and it prorates the batteries so the batteries and charger are under $70. Look up the Home Depot tool "hack" for more explanation on how it works.

It works with every battery I have (see my post above), so don't feel you need to be locked into OEM batteries.

I use Ridgid brand batteries by getting an adapter on Amazon. Of course you need a Ridgid charger as well but the batteries and the charger will have a lifetime guarantee. You never have to pay for another battery.
