Give me 50g of sugar before i drink 1g of sugar alcohol - literally the worst sweetener in any drink, which is why it's not used in big soda and most high volume drinks

Where are you parroting this information from? Why spread the FUD? I drink half a bottle a day with my greens and still perfectly healthy...
If it was espertame or other artificial sweetener, you may have some sort of standing but our bodies produce (although very little) erythritol and it can be found in nature... the "risk" can be with clotting, but if you have those sorts of issues, drink water and avoid sweet drinks to begin with.
Of course its commercial erythritol so maybe not as "natural/healthy" but not enough to try to look smart on a deal forum...

artificial sweeteners have proven safer than sugar alcohols in numerous clinical patient studies
entire countries like all 25+ in the EU and the UK are moving to either all artificial sweetener drinks or half and half and guess what they are using: Ace K and Sucralose - not a sugar alcohol in sight
if you want to continue to consume sugar alcohols be my guest but you are no different than the person that says oh i smoke only one cigarette a day with my coffee and im doing just fine
Best of luck, seems like you will need it
What about the Middle East? East Asia?
How about Mexico or any country in South America?
Ive been to all those places within the last 2 years - you know what's in all their drinks - sucralose or ace k or both +/- sugar
Big Soda on multiple continents is choosing to NOT use sugar alcohols in any of their products
The only part of your google copy and paste that was right was in regards to food items but those again are rare found in certain mints and gums - easy to avoid. How come all major gum and mint manufacturers dont use sugar alcohols just one or two? Wonder why that is.
Ill go by personal experience over a Google search but you do you.

Lol. I have traveled as well? Big Soda doesn't want to use sugar alcohol because the process is still very expensive. Any more input MrExpert?
the process is not expensive in fact it's cheaper to use sugar alcohols than Ace K and manufacturers still choose Ace K
you clearly think you are right when in fact you are wrong, the entire world (which you may have visited as an undergrad student for a few weeks across 2-3 countries) is not using sugar alcohols
ill go with the largest companies in the world and actual governments of 99% of all EU countries before taking your opinion which comes from a cursory google search
best of luck, sounds like you'll need it

- you imply to have scientific background yet offer no source. The first guy did and backs him up
- it's insane to say that your limited, subjective experience is more valuable than peer reviewed studies. Even more insane to equate a research bank to "Google search"
- you keep saying other countries and their corporations aren't putting it in their drinks. Why are you assuming they are doing that for health reasons? There are more important reasons to corporations ($$$$)
Anti intellectual asshat

Pretending you know about Coca Cola's business plan is pretty bold.
Sugar alcohols are cheaper to source than sucralose.
Allulose is MORE EXPENSIVE to source than both sugar alcohols and sucralose.
1 month ago Coca Cola made the HEALTH FOCUSED decision of removing sugar alcohols for ALLULOSE in their drinks including Body Armor Lyte, a more expensive but less gastrointestinal harmful sweetener.
So everyone in this thread jerking off to BodyArmor Lyte's sugar alcohols has been proven wrong as they are now GONE thanks to Coke wising up and following the rest of the industry. You dont need to bring up other drinks in other countries LOOK AT THE LISTING, this tiny company (Coke), chose to spend more money to use allulose than sugar alcohols.
Coke's actions speak louder than uninformed words.
Next time if you dont have a clue of what you are talking about, just stay silent so you dont mislead people.
Unintelligence and ignorance is dangerous - stay in your lane so others dont get harmed
