Wild to me that they wouldn't release an iOS version of this. I have ordered this despite being "Android-only" and tested it on iOS, and it 100% does NOT work. You can pair it, but it doesn't get detected in their own software or any games. I would have replaced my Backbone with this, but oh well...

I've had the exact opposite experience. I ordered it and was able to pair it to my iPhone and it's worked flawlessly. Maybe I'm on a different firmware from the factory? I know they were beta testing an iOS compatible firmware that support was emailing people to use. Perhaps try contacting their support to see if you can get a copy.

I just replaced my Aliexpress MC100 mobile gamepad with another MC100 (dont throw gamepads of any brand after losing in CODM). Anyone have direct experience with each to say what's better since they are basically the same price?

i tried this when it was on sale on woot. with my fold6
for w/e reason, when playing like dead cell/grim valor, the delay in lag is like 5-10s.. unbearable.. i even did the software update, still didnt help..

i think if this was usbc like the viture edition, it have no issues

That's interesting. My S23U works great with it besides it has terrible left stick vertical drift. I heard I can do something about it with some app or firmware, but it's not too big of a deal with some of the dreamcast games I've been playing

If you have a type-c phone, I think think the G8 is a better option over the plus.
G8 is a direct connection, G8+ is Bluetooth (like this 8bitdo) which adds latency. My use case is primarily Moonlight streaming so any additional latency is extra noticable, so I went with the G8 non-plus and I'm very happy with it.

They don't want to pay the IOS connection fees probably! Or apple is planning on making their own version so wont license one at all.
