I had this camera and it works great. I like how it's continuous recording and it stores all the videos on my Homebase. A lot of false motion and notification but that takes time to improve.

I don't have any lag. But everyday I keep getting human detected notifications in my driveway for my light fixtures and cowling of my outboard boat engine. I repeatedly report the error but I know it's not going anywhere.
Other than that, it's clear and very responsive with my home base 3

The wide sensor on this makes it much superior to the S340, it detects 180 degrees or more vs the S340, if you have it aimed right, someone coming the opposite side won't be recorded

yes you can, it'll have a hot, neutral and ground. goes right on the junction box. Just installed mine today.

I have 360 version with moving tracking higher model than this and it stopped moving and became almost useless. Customer care is useless didn't help with anything. So stuck with this expensive camera that does not move.

You can get much more storage with the home base. Can get up to 16tb hard drive. I use a 1tb SSD and it holds about 6 months of storage with 4 cameras.

Good deal here. I've had three of these units running for the past year and they are great. Two of them are hooked up to a homebase with an SSD and one is standalone.
The 5ghz connection makes a huge difference as 2.4ghz is very congested at my home. Notifications and previews are great. Continuous recording is also excellent. Motion tracking is good but not perfect.
My only gripe so far is that it can be tedious to download footage at times if you have continuous recording enabled. You can easily download clips where motion was detected, or record clips where no motion was detected, however you can't save video at the transition, if that makes sense. You'd have to download multiple clips and then splice them manually.
Other than that, I highly recommend these units. The lights work great and connection is rock solid.
