I don't see why not. I see a lot of positive reviews for people using it in their PS5s. Don't forget to pick up a heatsink! I just ordered this for my PS5 slim. It was the same price directly from Samsung with EPP, so I went that route so I can also stack cashback.

I wonder why. PS5 recommends a minimum write speed of 5,500 MB/s for the expansion slot, while the built-in internal drive is at 6,600 MB/s. The Plus is rated at 6,300 MB/s and the PRO is rated at 6,900 MB/s. It seems unlikely you'd see much of a noticeable performance difference, but I'm certainly no expert.

Got my Used like new today and it came in new. Box was unopened. Finished installing and Samsung Magician had only 100GB of writes from restoring a backup and performance and all testing was good. Excellent deal for 2TB of space.

Been eyeballing this but at the 1TB drive for my "new" gaming PC, seeing people commenting on the 30% discount made me bite the bullet on the 2TB!

TBW on the 1TB is 600TBW, the 2TB drive has 1200TBW,

picked up two of these for a Minisforum UM870 Slim mini pc. worked perfect, hard to believe the gaming power this tiny footprint can put out.

For anyone putting this into a gaming laptop that runs hot, these run pretty cool compared to dram versions and pro. I chose it based in this fact alone, my 5080 runs hot enough.
