Great high power strip for desk use and portability. Bought used like new for $58 a few months ago and now this is beating that.

Got this for about the same price back in April. Works well and I like the display shows the power draw.

Thanks for posting this OP

I tried to google search it on my own before posting my dumb question but was too stupid to figure it out on my own .. does this offer any surge protection to the devices plugged into it? The amazon description talks about a seven point safety system and I notice there's a warranty offered for devices plugged into it but couldn't tell if it amounts to surge protection compared to say wirecutter's recommended surge protectors (which admittedly do not have all the cool features that this does )

https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutte...protector/

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AAHT...DYARD&th=1

One reason I ask is .. well I found out the hard way several hundred dollars worth of damage later to various electronics that it really helps to have a good quality surge protector if say a lightning storm hits in the area not the cheap stuff I'd been using before.

The Notes section of the product details indicate explicitly no surge protection lol.

I'm using one right now in Singapore. I just plug it into a travel adapter. Voila! Plenty of power for multiple devices. Charge my MacBook Pro and iphones. Big hit in long ass meetings. I can monitor the power draw realtime. Watched the usb-c port draw 86W to 20W as it charged my macbook pro. I used the usb-a port to charge my iPhone 13 at 12W. Silent, no coil noise as mentioned above. Great price paid $76, expensed it

I ordered this 65W travel adapter for $6 with 40% clip coupon https://a.co/d/iQZryqP I'll find out if it's trash

I own this model, and I've been very happy with it. I can't say I've ever heard about coil noise though.

I had the very first batch of these and the coil whine was intense. They had me send it back and sent me a revised model. 90% of it is gone now, and I've been super happy with it since. My main backpack and travel charger.
