Good to know as I am in the need of a new computer. Do you have a link to your barebone version?

$306 is quite the savings and supposedly very quiet... wondering if the performance increase of this is worth it. Have a Microcenter right on my way back from work.
I recently switch to using one of these as my main PC and it sips power. Any normal desktop tasks feel no different from my main gaming system that draws a bunch of power and dumps out heat.
This CPU is basically the same as the Z1 extreme which is more powerful than the Steam Deck. This can run modern games as long as you are fine running with low settings and possibly needng upscaling. If you play older games you can max them out without issue.
I'm very happy that I made the switch, and I'm much cooler in my office. My only issue with having extra money weighting my wallet down from the mini PC both using less power, and needing to run my AC a lot less this summer.

Edit: just saw your comment, good catch about the HDMI. Also if it matters, the UM790 only has one HDMI and one DisplayPort.
