Nah, people with disposable income have no problem paying it. I personally get a rush on getting a deal, but my brother will gladly pay full price to get what he wants the moment he feels the urge.
I'm kind of stuck on the Yngwie now... Those Scallop necks are interesting. I have only played with one a few minutes.

Ppl are cr@pping on you because you're smart with your money...weird. I will never pay retail, unless I'm in desperate need and I must. I was looking at a Honda Super Cub today (not really interested in buying) and it's MSRP is $3,700, but the shop wanted almost another $1K for Shipping and Set-up, then add the license, doc, and tax and the bike was almost $6K OTD. WUT! And now there's a 25% tariff on Japanese goods....fergeddaboutit. Not buying anything new at retail until this madness is over. Back on track...I don't need (you never do) another guitar.

would it be a problem if you decide to sell it in the future? i guess not a lot of ppl are interested in a guitar with scalloped frets
I have lots of disposable income. Doesn't mean I'm not smart enough to look for a deal. Hell, even Sweetwater would discount if you call and talk to your rep.
That's good for you, bud. I guess your income gives you more sway on a discount from a rep than mine does. They never can offer me a discount on things I want.. only offers slight discounts on things I don't.. then continue to cold call me for the rest of my life.
I personally welcome the people who pay full MSRP, particularly exagerrated MSRP on new technologies.. as they beta all the bugs, so that when the tech drops in price, I get a better product.

Looks like both models are sold out now. It's good, I reallly gotta stop buying gear, VSTs and all these music. I have more toys than I do time.
