Current have one as an AP but need to replace my primary router. Have been debating investing into either a wired back haul mesh system under Asus, or having primary router be a Ubiquit or a flint.
Is it worth going more deeply into Asus?

Flint 2 not bad either. I went with this a while ago, has quirks but can run Merlin OS or even factory boot scripts by modding.

If you like to restart your router every other day then go for it. The 2.4ghz wifi range also sucks. Don't believe the hype about flint 2.
